Understanding built-in CD
player error messages
When problems occur during CD play an error
message may appear on the display. If an
error message appears, refer to the table
below to see what the problem is and the sug-
gested method of correcting the problem. If
the error cannot be corrected, contact your
dealer or your nearest Pioneer Service Center.
! If no sound is emitted from the speakers,
and the error message
POWER IC DAMAGE is displayed, the bat-
tery may be dead. Have the unit serviced as
soon as possible.
! When the battery is low, the error message
Error DC/DC conv may be displayed when
you try to adjust the volume or equalizers.
Turn the source on and off and turn the
ACC on and off. If the message is still dis-
played, have the unit serviced as soon as
possible.

tertainment displays an error message may
appear on the display. If an error message ap-
pears refer to the table below to see what the
problem is and the suggested method of cor-
recting the problem. If the error cannot be cor-
rected, contact your dealer or your nearest
Pioneer Service Center.
