1 Function display
Shows the function names.
1 Press Multi-Control to display the main
menu.
FUNCTION and AUDIO appear on the display.
2 Use Multi-Control to select FUNCTION.
Turn to change the menu option; press to se-
lect.
The function name appears on the display.
3 Turn Multi-Control to select the func-
tion.
Turn Multi-Control clockwise to switch be-
tween the functions in the following order:
During DVD video or Video CD playback
Repeat (repeat play)Pause (pause)
During CD playback
Repeat (repeat play)Random (random play)
Scan (scan play)Pause (pause)ITS Play
(ITS play)ITS (ITS input)disc title input
# You canalso switch between the functionsin
the reverse order byturning Multi-Control coun-
terclockwise.
# To return to theplayback display, press BAND.
Note
When using this unitwith multi-DVD player, you
can switch to ITSPlay, ITS and disc titleinput.
Repeating play
! During PBC playback of Video CDs, this
function cannot be operated.
1 Use Multi-Control to select Repeat.
Repeat appears in the display.
2 Press Multi-Control to select the repeat
range.
During DVD video playback
Press Multi-Control repeatedly until the de-
sired repeat range appears in the display.
! DISC Repeat the currentdisc
! CHAP Repeat just thecurrent chapter
! TITLE Repeat just thecurrent title
During Video CD or CD playback
Press Multi-Control to turn repeat play on or
off.
Notes
! If you select otherdiscs during repeat play,
the repeat play rangechanges to DISC.
! If you perform track search or fast forward/re-
verse during TRK, the repeat playrange
changes to DISC.
Pausing disc playback
1 Use Multi-Control to select Pause.
Pause appears in the display.
2 Press Multi-Control to turn pause on.
Pause:ON appears in the display. Play of the
current track pauses.
# To turn pause off, press Multi-Control
again.
