Getting to Know Your Digital Entertainer Express 2-5

Digital Entertainer Software for Windows
To start the Digital Entertainer software, select it from the Windows Start menu. If the Digital
Entertainer software is already running, click the icon to display the following screen:
The following options are available:
• Configure your Digital Entertainer. Use the Configuration Wizard. See “Configuring Your
Media Library” on page 1-11.
• Get Status for Digital Entertainers. See “Viewing Digital Entertainer Express Status from Your
PC” on page 4-1.
• Remote control your Digital Entertainers. See “Accessing the Digital Entertainer Express with
Your Browser” on page 2-6.
• Modify Tag and Album Art information. See “Using the Tag Tool Application” on page 4-3.
• Copy files to your Digital Entertainers. If your home network includes a Digital Entertainer
model with a hard disk, you can copy files to it.
• NETGEAR documentation.
• Check for Updates. See “Updating the Firmware” on page 6-1.
