6 – Program list
The program list is a new feature in the version 2
software. allowing you to store a list of up to 99 MP3
files. Use the list to play back a list of songs (includ-
ing your mixes) in a set order, and repeat a list of
songs, etc.
Remember you can store up to 63 MP3 files on a
card, so if you use all 99 “slots”, some files will be
repeated in the list.
Adding, changing and deleting items
To set up the program list:
1 Press the MENU key, and select the CARD
menu.
2 Move the cursor down to the
MP3 PGM
LIST
item, and press ENTER.
Adding an entry to the list
1 Move the cursor to the list entry above which
you will add the new entry. Note that if there
are no entries in the list, there is one line
showing
---List End---.
2 If there are no entries in the list, turn the
wheel clockwise. An entry in the list is cre-
ated above the
List End marker. The
name of the first MP3 in the
MP3 folder is
shown, blinking. Turn the wheel to select the
MP3 that you want to add to the top of the
list. Now press the right cursor pad so that
the whole line blinks and turn the wheel
clockwise again to add another entry to the
top of the list in the same way.
or
If there are already entries in the list, move
the cursor down to the point just before you
want to add a new entry (
List End if you
want to add to the end of the list). Press the
right cursor pad so the whole line blinks (the
program list entry number and the abbrevi-
ated MP3 filename). Turn the wheel clock-
wise to add a new program list entry. Turn
the wheel to set the file which will be played
when the program list entry is selected.
You can select the same file to appear more than once
as a list entry.
NOTE
Any MP3 file that you create by mixing or recording
("Entering Mix to MP3 mode" on page 9) is automati-
cally added to the top of the list.
Editing the list
To change the MP3 file which will be played at a par-
ticular point in the program list:
1 Move the cursor to the entry to be edited.
The name of the entry blinks.
2 Turn the wheel to select the MP3 file,
3 Use the up and down keys to select other
entries to edit in the same way.
Deleting an entry from the list
1 Move the cursor to the entry to be deleted.
2 Press the right arrow key so that the whole
line is blinking.
3 Turn the wheel counterclockwise to delete the
entry.
NOTE
This procedure does not delete the MP3 file, but only
the entry from the list. If you delete an MP3 file using
the
MP3 DELETE
function (
CARD
menu), you
must also go back to the MP3 program list and delete
any entries that make a reference to that file.
