Listening to the music files stored on a computer (PC Streaming Function)
Problem Causes/measures
You cannot connect the
device to a wireless LAN.
“Cannot connect to the
server” appears.
“Connection with the server
has ended” appears.
“Connection with the server
has ended. Information
retrieval cancelled” appears.
Check if your access point is turned on.
Check if your computer is turned on.
Check if the Wireless Adapter is firmly plugged into the USB port of
your computer.
If you performed the registration reset with the Wireless Adapter
Manager, you cannot connect this device to a computer unless you
register this device with the Wireless Adapter Manager (page 55).
The network settings of this device may be incorrect. Press SETTINGS
to check the [Device Information] - [Network Information] options.
Your computer may be unstable. Restart it.
Check the following to see if your computer is correctly set up:
The server has started.
The server is in [Start] status.
This device has been registered.
If the Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) of your computer has been
activated, this device may not be able to connect to your computer. You
may need to change the settings of the firewall to connect.*
If you performed a system recovery of your computer, redo the
connection and setup again (page 19).
The computer does not turn
on (cannot wake up from
“system standby” or “system
hibernate” status.)
If the Wireless Digital Audio connects to your computer via the
Wireless Adapter, you cannot wake up your computer even if you
turned this device on.
Your computer may not be set up correctly. Set up your computer
correctly.
You cannot use the device to wake up some computers.
* To change the settings of your firewall, refer to the operating instructions of your computer.
