Troubleshooting
If you have any problems with this product, follow the procedures below to check your device before
consulting our Customer Information Service Center.
If any messages or error codes appear, make note of them.

Turning on
Problem Causes/measures
You cannot turn the device on.
Plug the AC adapter securely into this device and to a wall outlet (page
21).
Check if the BATTERY switch is set to ON.
The internal battery may run down (either “No battery power
remaining” appears, or nothing appears). Plug this device into a wall
outlet (page 21).
The internal system of this device may have a malfunction. The device
may have electronic noise from being dropped; a power surge; or static
electricity. Disconnect the AC adapter, and turn the BATTERY switch
to OFF. After about 30 seconds, plug in the AC adapter again.
You cannot turn the device off.
The internal system of this device may have a malfunction. The device

electricity. Disconnect the AC adapter, and turn the BATTERY switch
to OFF. After about 30 seconds, plug in the AC adapter again.
If you press the
(POWER) button while this device is turned on, the
device goes into standby mode (the POWER lamp stays lit in red). If
you want to fully shut down the device, disconnect the AC adapter and
turn the BATTERY switch to OFF.
