Can’t connect to network, and
Firewall software is running
Make sure your Firewall software is congured to
allow iTunes music sharing.
Mac: Open System Preferences. Select the Sharing
icon and click on the Firewall tab. Select the option
“iTunes Music Sharing.”
PC: Refer to your documentation for changing rewall
settings. Add a new port to enabled ports — specify
port 3689 to open. If running Windows XP2, open
“Security Center,” select “Windows Firewall,” click on
the “Exceptions” tab, and check to see that iTunes is
enabled. If not, use “Add Programs” to enable it.
After these changes have been made, restart
SoundBridge by disconnecting it from AC power.
Can’t connect to network:
Wired Ethernet
Check to make sure your Ethernet cable is
properly connected to your SoundBridge and
to your home networking hardware. Make sure
the “link” light is lit. For additional help, see

Can’t connect to network: Wireless Check to make sure your Wi-Fi adapter CF card
is inserted securely under the left end cap of
SoundBridge, and the power light is lit on the CF

Can’t get to main menu upon startup Your music library is not detected because your
network connection is not active. Check your
network connections, including cables and power
supply.
