GETTING STARTED
To use SoundBridge you will need to:
1. Make sure you have iTunes installed
and running, and the “share” option
selected.
2. Connect SoundBridge to powered
speakers or your home stereo system’s
receiver or amplier.
3. Connect SoundBridge to your computer
via an Ethernet or Wi-Fi network.
4. Plug in SoundBridge to AC power (there
is no “on/off” switch).
5. If you are using Wi-Fi and have WEP
security enabled, you will need to enter
your security key with SoundBridge
using the remote control.
6. Select and connect to an iTunes music
library.
7. Play music: Using your remote control,
nd a song you want to play, then press
Select twice to play it immediately or
Add to add it to the Song Queue.

1. Software Requirements
Roku SoundBridge is designed to act as a
remote client for iTunes music. It knows how
to talk directly to the iTunes “share” mode
built into iTunes. Be sure to launch iTunes
(version 4.0 or later) on your computer before
using SoundBridge.
If you are not currently using iTunes, you have
a couple of options:
A) Download and install iTunes from
www.itunes.com. If you already use another
music management software (such as Music
Match) and want to keep using it, no problem;
just download iTunes, install it, and point it
to your music library. You can continue to
use Music Match for playing music on your
computer, but run iTunes in order to share
your music with SoundBridge on your home
network. (However, only playlists created in
iTunes will be recognized by SoundBridge.)
In iTunes, be sure to turn on the “sharing”
option. Go to the iTunes/Preferences menu
on your Mac or Edit/Preferences on your
PC. In the dialog box that appears, click the
“sharing” tab. You should see the screen
similar to the one below. Click the option
