Switching
the Subtitle
Language
It is possible to change
the subtile language
during play if multiple
languages are recorded
on the disc.

the Audio
Language
It is possible to change
the audio language
during play if multiple
audio languages are
recorded on the disc.
Switching
the Angle
For DVDs which contain
scenes which have been
shot simultaneously from a
number of different angles
the same scene can be
viewed from each of these
different angles during
play.

SUBTITLE
1
1 sec.
The subtitle language is switched every time this is pressed for more
than 1 second.
Initially, the subtitle language is the language that is set in the user settings.
(If this language has not been recorded, the language that is displayed is
determined by the disc.)
Note:
There may be brief delay before the subtitles appears.

AUDIO

1 sec.
The audio language is switched every time this is pressed for more than
1 second.
(During playback)
ANGLE
3
1 sec.
The angle is switched every time this is pressed for more than 1 second.
Note:
Some discs do not support the angle function. See the operating manual
with the disc for details.
Stereo is switched to monaural or vice versa every time this is pressed
for more than 1 second.

Note:
If no operation is performed for 5 seconds, the display returns to the regular mode.
It may not be possible to switch subtitles/audio languages unless the unit is at the DVD menu ( page 18)
or is at the user settings ( page 22).
The number of subtitle languages/audio languages depends on the disc. (Some discs have only one
language.)
