You can use the following procedure to select the set of subtitles you want to
use when the DVD you are playing includes subtitle sets for multiple
languages.
To change the subtitle set
1 While the disc is playing, press SUBTITLE.
• This displays the currently selected subtitle set number.
Example: When there are three subtitle
sets
• If the disc does not have any subtitle
data,
XX
appears in place of the subtitle
set number.
2 Select the number of the subtitle set you want.
• The number of the subtitle set you select is shown on the screen.
• The subtitle set number does not appear if the disc you are using has only one
set of subtitle.
• While the subtitle set numbers are on the display, use ' and " to select the one
you want.
To turn subtitling on and off
1 While the disc is playing, press SUBTITLE
ON/OFF to toggle subtitling on and off.
• The subtitle set numbers remain on the
screen for about 10 seconds.
