Press the PTT switch within 5 seconds
to save the setting, otherwise the
operation will cancel.
A beep will sound.
Repeat steps 3 to 6 to set up another
channel.
Turn the transceiver power OFF and
then ON again to activate the new
settings.
Press the Side 1 key to increment the
Tone number or the Side 2 key to
decrement the number, to select the
new tone or code.
Tone numbers and their corresponding
tones/ codes are provided in the table
on pages 28 and29.
Press and hold the Side 1or Side 2 key to
increment/ decrement the QT or DQT
number by 5 at a time.
A voice announcement will inform you of
the currently selected QT or DQT
number.
Note:
The transceiver will automatically return to normal operation if
no action is performed for 5 seconds.
