Single Homed Fabric Extender vPC Configuration Example
The following example shows how to configure the single homed Fabric Extender vPC topology using the
default VRF to carry the peer-keepalive messages on switch NX-5000-1 as shown in following figure:

The following example only shows the configuration of NX-5000-1 which is connected to the Fabric
Extender NX-2000-100. You must repeat these steps on its vPC peer, NX-5000-2, which is connected to
the Fabric Extender NX-2000-101.

Before You Begin
Ensure that the Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders NX-2000-100 and NX-2000-101 are attached and
online.
Procedure
Step 1
Enable vPC and LACP.
NX-5000-1# configure terminal
NX-5000-1(config)# feature lacp
NX-5000-1(config)# feature vpc
