Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
Poor FM reception on certain stations
Poor AM reception on certain stations
Unit is on but there is low volume or no
volume at all
Unit shuts off unexpectedly
Cannot set the clock or alarm time
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Weak or distant station
Weak or distant station
Main volume has been turned all the way
down
Headphones are connected to Headphone
Jack
Unit was in the Sleep Mode instead of
Power On Mode
The unit was turned On by the alarm and
the alarm time ended
The display must be flashing in order to
set the clock/alarm times
REMEDY
Try adjusting the direction of the FM wire
antenna
Rotate the unit to try and gain better
reception
Raise the volume with the volume dial
Disconnect the headphones
Press the Radio On Button once to turn
the unit back on
Hold the Time Set Button or one of the
Alarm Set Buttons until the display flashes

Remote control does not operate properly
Remote batteries are not installed, installed
incorrectly or exhausted
Remote is too far from the main unit
Install fresh “AAA” batteries in the correct
polarity
Move remote closer to the main unit
The INDIGLO

Night-Light will not illuminate
when the room is dark.
The CDS Light Sensor, located on the back
of the unit, is covered or blocked.
Make sure that the CDS Light Sensor is
unblocked.
