Setting the User Name
By setting the IC recorder user name, you can automatically add the user
name to a recorded message. When the message is displayed in the
“Memory Stick Voice Editor” software, the user name specified here is
displayed as “User Name”.
Note
The user name is not displayed on the IC recorder.
1 Turn the jog lever toward MENU.
The menu mode window will be displayed.
2 Press the jog lever up or down (>/
.) to select “USER NAME“, and then
press the jog lever (x•B).
The user name input window will be
displayed.
3 Enter characters.
You can enter up to 20 characters for a user
name.
To enter and replace characters, see page 46.
4 Press the jog lever (x•B) for more than
one second to fix the name.
5 Turn the jog lever toward MENU to
exit the menu mode.
The window will return to normal display.
1 To cancel setting the user name
Press xSTOP.
