Labeling Messages
Messages are not labeled automatically, but you can label messages
yourself.
1 Turn the jog lever toward MENU.
The menu mode window will be displayed.
2 Press the jog lever up or down (>/
.) to select “MSG. NAME“, and then
press the jog lever (x•B).
The message name input window will be
displayed.
3 Enter characters.
You can enter up to 254 characters to label a
message.
To enter and replace characters, see page 46.
4 Press the jog lever (x•B) for more than
one second to fix the name.
5 Turn the jog lever toward MENU to
exit the menu mode.
The window will return to normal display.
1 Longer message names
The display window can display up to 10 characters only.
If the name is longer, it can be scrolled when changing display modes or during
playback of the message.
1 To cancel labeling
Press xSTOP.
