Playing a “Memory Stick”
Playing an ATRAC3 Audio
Track
You can play ATRAC3 audio tracks recorded
on an “MG Memory Stick.”
Make sure the MS indicator is lit (MS mode)
when you play an “MG Memory Stick.”
1 Insert a “MG Memory Stick” into the
MEMORY STICK slot (page 72).
2 Press MS.
The MS indicator on the player lights up
(MS mode).
The Control Menu is displayed.
3 Press X/x to select “AUDIO.”
4 Press H or ENTER.
The first track recorded on the “MG
Memory Stick” is played back.
To play the next or previous track
Press > or ..
z
You can view the disc information (page 52) or
scan (page 49) while playing ATRAC3 audio tracks.
You can also activate Repeat Play (page 46),
“AUDIO” (page 57), and “TVS” (page 59).
z You can also use > or . on the player to
select “AUDIO” in Step 3.
z If you want to view JPEG image files after playing
ATRAC3 audio tracks, press DISPLAY to display the
Control Menu. Select using X/x, then press
ENTER. Follow from Step 3 of “Viewing a JPEG
Image File” on page 75.
Selecting a track
1 After Step 4 in “Playing an ATRAC3
Audio Track,” press MENU.
The audio tracks recorded on the “MG
Memory Stick” appear. When a track is
being played, its title is shaded.
2 Press X/x to select the track, then press
ENTER.
The player starts playing the selected
track.
