Playing back with the Noise Canceling function [Noise
Canceling] (NWZ-E573/E574/E575 only)
The internal microphone of the headphones (supplied) catches the ambient noise, and your
Walkman outputs an antiphase sound wave to cancel the noise.
1. From the Home menu, select
[Noise Canceling] [Noise Canceling: On/Off] [On].
appears in the information area.
Hint
When the Noise Canceling function of your Walkman is active,
appears on the screen. If
headphones other than those supplied are used, the Noise Canceling function of the
Walkman will not work even if [Noise Canceling: On/Off] is set to [On]. In this case,
appears in the information area.
You can adjust the effect of the Noise Canceling function of your Walkman [Details].
