3 Connect your Network Walkman to your computer and charge it.
Connect the small connector of the dedicated USB cable to the USB jack on the Network
Walkman, then the large connector to a USB port on your computer.
“USB Connect” appears in the display.

This is the approximate charging time when the battery power is low and the “USB Bus Powered” setting
(page 38) is “High-power 500mA” under room temperature. The charging time will vary depending on
remaining battery power and battery condition. If the battery is charged in a low-temperature environment,
the charging time will be longer. It will also be longer if you transfer audio file(s) to your Network
Walkman while charging.
