Using a CompactFlash Card (LF-X5 Only)

Removing a CompactFlash Card
Notes
Never remove the CompactFlash card from the unit
or turn off the power to the unit when:
The CompactFlash card indicator is lit orange.
Mail or other data is being moved to the
CompactFlash card.
Images or other data are copying to the
CompactFlash card.
Data on the CompactFlash card is being deleted.
The CompactFlash card is being initialized.
Mail or other data on the CompactFlash card is
being printed.
Data on the CompactFlash card may be damaged if:
During data transfer, you remove the
CompactFlash card from the unit, turn off the
power to the monitor, remove the AC power
adapter, or the battery runs out.
(The CompactFlash card indicator lights orange
during data transfer.)
You use the CompactFlash card in a place
affected by static charge and/or electric noise.
Using a “Memory Stick Duo”
Note
A standard-sized “Memory Stick” cannot be used.
When “Memory Stick Duo” is inserted into a
Memory Stick Duo Adaptor, the size becomes the
same as the CompactFlash card to allow use with
the LF-X5.

Insert the “Memory Stick Duo” into the
Memory Stick Duo Adaptor.
Slide the “Memory Stick Duo” into the slot
in the direction shown in the diagram.

Insert the Memory Stick Duo Adaptor into
the CompactFlash slot of the LF-X5.
With a “Memory Stick Duo” inserted into
the Memory Stick Duo Adaptor, slide the
unit fully into the CompactFlash slot of the
LF-X5.
