If not, match the supplied cable’s yellow connector to
the VIDEO connection, red to AUDIO RIGHT, and white
to AUDIO LEFT.Ô
CONNECTING TO A TV AND AMPLIFIER
You can also connect the DVD player to a TV and to a
stereo amplifier to enjoy high quality stereo sound.
1. Connect the supplied A/V cable’s two-plug end to the
OUTPUT VIDEO / AUDIO jacks on the back of the DVD
player.
2. Connect the supplied A/V cable’s three-plug end to an
A/V cable (not supplied). Connect the yellow (VIDEO)
cable to VIDEO IN on your TV. Connect the red
connector (AUDIO RIGHT) and white connector
(AUDIO LEFT) to your A/V receiver.
Ô NOTE Ô
Some TVs do not have an RCA
or S-Video jack, they only have a
coaxial antenna jack. In this
case, you must purchase an RF
modulator (not supplied,
available at your local
RadioShack store).
When you connect the DVD
player to a TV, the DVD player’s
display and speakers remain on.
To turn off the display, slide OFF
/
ON under the screen to OFF.
You may turn the DVD player’s
volume to the minimum level
when listening to the TV’s
speaker.
