CAUTION
It is extremelydangerous to allow the micro-
phone lead tobecome wound around the steer-
ing column orshift lever.Be sure to install the
unit in such away that it will notobstruct driv-
ing.
Note
Install the microphonein a position and orienta-
tion that will enableit to pick upthe voice of the
person operating thesystem.
When installing the microphone
on the sun visor
1 Fit the microphone leadinto the groove.

visor.
With the sunvisor up, install the microphone
clip. (Lowering thesun visor reduces the voice
recognition rate.)

When installing the microphone
on the steering column
1 Detach the microphone base from themi-
crophone clip.
To detachthe microphone base from the micro-
phone clip, slidethe microphone base.
