You can use Bluetoothtelephone.
Important
! Leavingthe unit onstandby to connect to
your phone via Bluetoothwhile the engine is
not running can drainthe battery.
! Advancedoperations that requireattention
such as dialingnumbers on the monitor,
etc., are prohibitedwhile driving. Park your
vehicle in asafe place when using thesead-
vanced operations.
! Bluetoothconnection menu cannotbe se-
lected while driving.
! Operationsavailable may belimited depend-
ing on the cellularphone connected to this
unit.
! Besure to parkyour vehicle in asafe place
and apply theparking brake when perform-
ing this operation.
! Ifyou are unable tocomplete the connection
using this unit,use the device to connectto
the unit.
! Ifyou connect more thanone device at a
time, connected devicemay not operate
properly. Connecting one device ata time is
recommended.

Setting up for hands-free phoning
Before you canuse the hands-free phoning
function you mustset up the unit foruse with
your cellular phone. Thisentails establishing a
Bluetooth wireless connectionbetween this unit
and your phone,registering your phone with
this unit, andadjusting the volume level.

First, youneed toconnect a Bluetoothtele-
phone tothis unit.

2 Volume adjustment
Adjust theearpiece volumeof your cellular
phone toyour preference.The unit willrecord

! Thevolume of the caller’s voice andring
tone may vary dependingon the type ofcellu-
lar phone.
! Ifthere is a largevolume difference between
the ring toneand caller’s voice, the overall
volume level maybecome unstable.
