Entering the name of a track
For the tracks recorded on the HDD, you can enter the track
information such as track title, album title and genre.
Entered information can be used when creating and editing a play list.
1. Activate the HDD section.
Press the HDD button.

2. Select the track to which you want to
enter the information.

3. Call the character-editing mode.
Press the TEXT button. The menu item showing
editing mode is displayed.
4. Select the editing mode you want to
perform.

PUSH TO ENTER
Turn the jog dial to select the editing mode. The
editing mode showing in the display changes in
the following order: Alubum In?, Artist In?,
Genre In?, Date In?, Title In?.
Press the MULTI JOG dial to confirm the
editing mode you select.
5. Enter the characters.
When the editing mode is Title In?, Alubum In? And Artist In?, see
Entering characters below.
When the editing mode is Genre In?, see Selecting a genre on the
next page.
6. Confirm the entry and exit the editing
mode.
Press the YES button or the TEXT button to
confirm the entry.
The Complete! indication is displayed in the
display area.

Entering characters
When the editing mode is Title In?, Alubum In? and Artist In?, you
can enter the character information using the following procedures.
1. Selecting a character you want to enter
Press the DISPLAY button repeatedly to change
the type of character to be entered.
Display Type of character to be entered
A] Upper-case letter of alphabet (A-Z)
a] Lower-case letter of alphabet (a-z)
1] Numbers (0-9)/Symbols
] Same letter or symbol as you entered before
