Time & Date

Reset Settings
This returns the functions back to their initial
settings (factory default).
[Start]: Returns the settings to their initial
values.
[Cancel]: Takes you back to [Device Menu].
After resetting the settings, the time
settings, file numbers and folder name
will be preserved, will not return to their
initial settings.

Memory Select
When a microSD card is inserted you
can select to record to either the built-in
memory or to the microSD card ( P.24).
[Built-in Memory]: Built-in memory.
[microSD Card]: microSD card.
Power Save
Forgetting to turn the power off can be
prevented. If the recorder remains in stop
mode for over 10 minutes (Initial setting)
while the power is turned on, the power will
be turned off.
[5minutes] [10minutes] [30minutes]
[1hour]:
Set the length of time before the power
will be turned off.
[Off]: Disables this function.
If any button is pressed, the elapsed time
count before the power turns off will start
over again.
Battery
Select to match the battery you are using.
[Ni-MH] (õ):
Select when using the Olympus Ni-MH
rechargeable batteries (BR404).
[Alkaline] (ú):
Select when using alkaline batteries.
Folder Name
You can change the folder names of Folder
&
to Folder

for audio recording into names
preset in the template. You can also change
folder names registered in the template with
"Olympus Sonority".
1 Select a folder the name of which
you want to change.
2 Select a folder name from the
preset template.
