Using the DVD Changer as CD player
Since your DPC-6.1 allows you to insert up to five discs in
any combination (DVD videos, Video CDs, audio CDs),
there may be times when you only want to listen to music
and avoid having to press the DISC SKIP or DISC +/–
buttons several times to skip to the next audio CD. In that
case, proceed as follows:
Press the CD PLAY button while the DPC-6.1
is stopped or playing back a CD.
The RPT message appears on the
display and the REPEAT indicator lights
to signal that all audio CDs will be
repeated in sequence.
The indication changes in 2-3 seconds.
Press the CD PLAY button again to
cancel CD Mode.
The RPT message disappears and the
REPEAT indicator goes dark again to
signal that the DVD Changer has
returned to normal playback mode.
Notes:
The CD PLAY button does not work while the DPC-6.1 is
playing back a disc other than an audio CD. You first need
to press the STOP button. Next, press the CD PLAY button to
enter CD PLAY Mode. The DVD Changer starts playing back
the audio CD in the disc drawer with the lowest number.
Another way of selecting only audio tracks is to take
advantage of the DPC-6.1’s Memory function. See “Pro-
gramming Memory Sequences” on page 22 for details.
