Signal alarm
1 Press »
ON/OFF
« to switch the device to stand-by mode.
2 To activate the first alarm programme, press and hold down »AL 1«.
– Display: e.g. »
ALARM
ɷ«, the alarm time (e.g. »6:00«) and the
next alarm day.
3 Press »AL 1« twice to set the programme.
– Display: »

ɷ« flashes.
4 If necessary, select signal alarm (»e«) with »S« or »A«.
5 To set and confirm the alarm time, repeat steps 8 to 16 of the “radio
alarm” section.
Radio and signal tone alarm
1 Press »ON/OFF« to switch on the device.
2 Use »1/6 ... 5/10« to select the desired radio station.
– The requested radio station is played.
3 Set the desired maximum volume using »+ VOLUME –«.
4 Press »
ON/OFF
« to switch the device to stand-by mode.
5 To activate the first alarm programme, press and hold down »AL 1«.
– Display: e.g. »
ALARM
ɷ«, the alarm time (e.g. »6:00«) and the
next alarm day.
6 Press »AL 1« twice to set the programme.
– Display: »

ɷ« flashes.
7 If you have not already selected it, select the radio and signal tone
alarm type (»e ɷ«) with »S« or »A«.
8 To set and confirm the alarm time, repeat steps 8 to 16 of the “radio
alarm” section.
Note:
You will be awoken with the radio programme at the set alarm time;
approx. 9 minutes later the signal tone will sound. If you interrupt the
signal tone with »SNOOZE«, you will still hear the radio programme.
Deleting all settings (Reset)
If the electronic system of your device becomes blocked (as the result of
static electricity from the floor carpet or storms, for example), the device can
be reset to its original condition.
1 Press »RESET« (at the base of the casing) with a sharp object and hold
down for about 2 seconds.
– The time, date, alarm times and radio settings are deleted.
