6.3UpperVoltageandCurrentLimits
Whenthevoltageorcurrentattheoutputterminalexceedsthemaximumallowablelimits,the
outputwillautomaticallyswitchOFF.Thisadditionalprotectionfeatureisnecessaryforapower
supplywithsuchawiderangeofvoltageandcurrentcapabilities.
TosettheUVL:
1. TosettheUVL:PresstheSHIFTbuttonandthenpresstheVoltagecontrolknob.The
voltmeterwillshowthecurrentlimitsettingandtheAmmeterwillshowSuul.
2. TurntheVoltagecontrolknobtothedesiredlimitvalue.PressSHIFTtoconfirmandto
returntonormaloperation.
3. TosettheUCL,pressSHIFTandthenpresstheCurrentcontrolknob.TheAmmeterwill
showthecurrentlimitsettingandtheVoltmeterwillshowSUCL.
4. TurntheCurrentcontrolknobtothedesiredlimitvalue.PressSHIFTtoconfirmandto
returntonormaloperation.
Note:
TheUVLandUCLsettingsdefaulttothemaximumoutputvalue.

3.MakeconnectionsbetweenRemoteSensingandequipment.
