When disposing of the
player
This player has a built-in rechargeable
lithium-ion battery. Before you dispose of the
player, remove the battery for environmental
protection.
Certain countries may regulate disposal
of the battery used to power this product.
Please consult with your local authority.
CAUTION
Do not open the player except when
disposing of the player.
Note
Before removing the built-in rechargeable battery,
make sure it is completely drained.
To remove the lithium-ion
battery
1 Remove the three screws on the
side using a Philips screwdriver.
2 Remove the cover.
3 Remove the two screws on the
circuit board, disconnect the two
connectors, and then remove the
circuit board.
Uncover the protective sheet and
disconnect the connectors.

4 Pull out the connector of the
battery.
Hold and pull the connector with your
fingers.
5 Remove the battery.
6 Insulate the black and red cables
by wrapping them with an
adhesive tape, in case the cables
are disconnected from the
connector.
Note
Do not damage the cords by the pointed ends of
tweezers, etc.
