Adjusting the settings of the player
Turning off the power
after a specified time
(Sleep)
You can set the player to turn off
automatically after a certain period of time.
The time length can be specified between 5
and 120 minutes at 5 minutes step.
1 Press and hold MENU/BACK until
the Setup menu appears.
2 Rotate the jog dial to select
“SLEEP,” and then push the jog
dial.
3 Rotate the jog dial to specify the
time length until the player is
turned off.
4 Push the jog dial.
To return to the original screen
Press MENU/BACK.
After you exit the menu, the sleep timer
indication “ ” appears in the display.
To cancel the sleep timer function
Select “SLEEP OFF” in step 3, or turn off
the player.
Turning off the power
automatically
(Auto Power Off)
You can set the player to turn off
automatically if nothing has been operated
for 180 seconds during pause or after
playback finished (with Repeat play mode
off).
1 Press and hold MENU/BACK until
the Setup menu appears.
2 Rotate the jog dial to select “AUTO
PWR OFF.”
3 Push the jog dial repeatedly to
select “AUTO PWR OFF ON.”
To return to the original screen
Press MENU/BACK.
To cancel the auto power off function
Select “AUTO PWR OFF OFF” in step 3.
Note
When the player is connected to your computer, the
player will not be turned off automatically even if
the auto power off function is set to on.
