Can’t use the mic
The internal mics cannot be used if a mic, cable, or device is connected to the MIC jack
or LINE IN jack. If you want to use the internal mics, do not connect anything to the
other input jacks.

If a mic, cable or device is connected to the LINE IN jack, the input from the MIC jack will
be ignored. If you want to use an external mic, do not connect anything to the LINE IN
jack.
If you’re using a plug-in powered mic, you’ll need to turn Plug-in Power on.

Recorded sound is
distorted
The sound will be distorted if the input level is too high. Adjust the recording level
appropriately.

Can’t play back the
recorded file
If you inadvertently disconnect the adaptor or remove the SD card during recording,
the file will be damaged and cannot be played. In some cases you may be able to use
the file Repair function to recover it.
