Audio recording level
PCM audio recording level of DV-format VTRs can be divided into 2 main groups:
1) The group that uses full scale -20dB as the standard level, to which this unit belongs.
2) The group that uses full scale -12dB as the standard level.
When a tape recorded with a VTR based on full scale -12dB is played on this unit, the volume is
increased by about 8dB. In this case, set the AUDIO OUT LEVEL menu item to ATT.
