Press the RADIO ON/BAND button ❶
once to turn the unit on and select
radio. Repeatedly press to select the
desired band (AM, FM). Slide the FM
RADIO switch ❷ on the rear of the unit
to the STEREO or MONO position as
desired. Sound present in Stereo
broadcasts can be reduced by sliding
this switch to the MONO position.

Tune a station by pressing the
TUNE/SKIP ❶ or ❷ button.
Press and hold the TUNE/SKIP ❶
or ❷ button and the unit will scan
and stop on the next strong station.

TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO
Adjust the volume using the VOLUME
+/– buttons ❶.
Press the POWER OFF button ❷ to
turn the unit off.

Tune a station as described in step 2
above, then press the RADIO SET
button ❶ once; the MEMO indicator
will blink. Press the RECALL button ❷
to select a radio preset number, then
press the RADIO SET button ❶ again
to confirm and the radio preset will be
set. To set the alarm station (“AL” will
appear), see page 14.

Antennas
FM: Extend the FM Antenna wire for better FM reception.
AM: Turn the unit for better AM reception.
