Set the FUNCTION switch to CD.
The OPE/BATT indicator lights.
Press OPEN to open the disc compartment.
Place a disc in the center with the label side up and close
the disc compartment.
You can also place a smaller 3-inch (8 cm) disc,

Press the 011 PLAY/PAUSE button to start CD play.

Basic operation
Press the following buttons.
To stop ■ STOP/MEMORY button
To ~ause
>11 PLAY/PAUSE button
To resume play, press the button again.
After listening
Set the FUNCTION switch to POWER (!) STANDBY/TAPE.
● Press the W STOP/MEMORY button to stop play before opening the
disc compartment.
. Do not place more than one disc in the disc compartment at the same
time.
● If the video image of a nearby television is distorted or noise is heard
from a radio during CD play, move the unit further away from the
affected television ‘or radio. ”
