1. Setthefunctionswitchtothe ΩCAPposition. 

2. PresstheF1key(MENU),movethemenuselectortothe

RESISTANCE,andthenpresstheOKkey

3. MovethemenuselectortotheitemlabeledCONTINUITY

andpresstheOKkey

4. InserttheblackleadbananaplugintothenegativeCOM

jack.

5. Insertthered

testleadbananaplugintothepositive

jack.

6. Touchthetestprobetipstothecircuitorwireundertest.

7. Iftheresistanceislessthanapproximately35Ω,theaudible

signalwillsound.Ifthecircuitisopen,thedisplaywill

indicateOL.

DIODETEST

1. SetthefunctionswitchtotheΩCAPposition

2. PresstheF1key(MENU),movethemenuselectortothe

DIODEfield,andthenpresstheOKkey

3. MovethemenuselectortotheitemlabeledDIODEand

presstheOKkey

4. Inserttheblacktestlead

bananaplugintothenegative

COMjackandtheredtestleadbananaplugintothe

positiveVjack.

5. Touchthetestprobestothediodeundertest.Forward

voltagewilltypicallyindicate0.400to3.200V.Reverse

voltagewillindicateOL.Shorteddeviceswillindicatenear

0Vandan

opendevicewillindicateOLinbothpolarities.
