❏ Before printing, turn on the card mode by pressing the
Tear Off/Bin button until both Tear Off/Bin lights are on.
After you finish printing on postcards, press the Tear Off/Bin
button once to exit the card mode. (Bin 1 of the optional cut-
sheet feeder is selected.)
❏ Use postcards only under normal temperature and humidity
conditions, as follows:
Temperature 15 to 25°C (59 to 77°F)
Humidity 30 to 60% RH
Loading Single Sheets in the Top Paper Slot
To load paper in the top slot, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the paper guide base is installed properly. If not,
attach it as described on page 1-12.
2. Open the paper guide cover. Slide the left edge guide until it
locks in place next to the arrow on the paper guide. Next
adjust the right edge guide to match the width of your paper.
