Disconnecting the gigabeat from Your PC
When the gigabeat is connected to your PC and you are using Windows Media
Player 10 or Napster, the disconnection procedures are not necessary. Simply
disconnect the USB cable.
When setting “PC CONNECTIONS” to “gigabeat room”
When gigabeat room is in operation
1 Click the “gigabeat Eject Button”
(>p.41).
2 Click the “OK” button when a message “The gigabeat has been
disconnected” appears.
3 Unplug the USB cable from the gigabeat.
When gigabeat room is not in operation
1 On the taskbar, click (Safely Remove Hardware).
2 Click .
3 When the message shown at right
appears, click the message and
unplug the USB cable from the
gigabeat.

Note
-The screen in step 2 shows (E:) as the drive to be disconnected. The specific
drive will vary, depending on your PC’s particular configuration.
-Refer to your PC’s instructions manual for details about disconnecting from the
PC.
