The unit starts scan tuning when
1¿ or ÷1
+
is held down (see “Scan
tuning”, page 20).
The frequency changes rapidly when ¿ or ÷ is held down, and stops
when released. In the AM bands (MW, SW, and LW), the unit scans
continuously in the range of 150 to 29,999 kHz.
Frequency range of the bands/meter bands
The short wave range is divided into 14 bands that are generally
referred to as “meter bands”.
