Playing discs

When using the noise canceling headphones (included) (➜ page 9)

To play JPEG or MPEG4 files on DVD-RAM that contain both [RAM] and another format (e.g.
[JPEG]), select “Play as Data Disc” (➜ page 25, Other Menu).

While stopped, the unit automatically turns off once 15 minutes (after approximately 5 minutes when
using the battery pack) have elapsed.

Discs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press

when you finish to preserve the unit’s motor.

Total title number may not be displayed properly on iR/iRW.

Main unit operations
Turn unit on/play
Press and hold and the power comes on and play
begins.

The position is memorized when “Press PLAY to
resume play” appears on the screen.

[DVD-V] While the message is displayed,

ON] and the previous chapters are
reviewed.
Opening the disc lid or pressing [∫, –OFF] while
“Press PLAY to resume play” appears on the
screen cancels the memorized position where
play stopped.
Turn unit off Press and hold until “OFF” is displayed.
