There is no sound. The volume is set to the
minimum.
Adjust the volume on the
device or remote.

The remote or headphones
are not connected properly.
Check the headphones, the
extension cable/remote and
the device properly.

The m:robe functions
cannot be operated.
The HOLD function is set
to ON.
Slide back the HOLD
switch to release the
HOLD function.

The reaction of the Touch
Panel is slow.
The reaction is slow if the
surface of the Touch Panel
or your hands are wet.
Wipe moisture from the
device and your hands to
improve response time.
A file that you have
transferred is not found.
The file was transferred
using Windows Explorer,
etc.
Files that are not
transferred from the
supplied Music/Photo
Organization Software
“m:trip” cannot be
displayed. Synchronize
with m:trip.

The device becomes hot. The temperature of the
device increases after
extended periods of
operation.
This is not a malfunction.
Synchronization is not
happening.
The device is turned off. Turn the power on. gpage 23
The battery discharges
soon after charging.
The built-in battery is good
for about 500 complete
charges and discharges,
depending on usage.
If the battery soon becomes
dead, contact your local
Olympus customer support
center for a replacement.
