Warranty
Audiovox Electronics Corporation (hereafter referred to as “the Company”, warrants to the original retail
purchase of this product that should this product or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be
proven defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from the date of original purchase, such
defect(s) will be repaired or replaced with new or reconditioned product (at the Company’s option) without
charge for parts and repair labor. To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of this Warranty, the
product is to be delivered with proof of warranty coverage (i.e. dated bill of sale), specification of defect(s),
transportation prepaid, to the warranty center at the address shown below.
This Warranty does not extend to the elimination of car static or motor noise, to correction of antenna
problems, to costs incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation of the product, or damage to CD’s,
speakers, accessories or vehicle electrical systems.
This Warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which, in the opinion of the Company, has
suffered or been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, accident
or by removal or defacement of the factory serial number/bar code label(s). The extent of the company’s
liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement provided above and, in no event
shall the company’s liability exceed the purchase price paid by purchaser for the product.
This Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties or liabilities. Any implied warranties, including any
implied warranties of merchantability, shall be limited to the duration of this written warranty. Any
action for breach of any Warranty hereunder including any implied warranty of merchantability must
be brought within a period of 30 months from date of original purchase. In no case shall the
Company be liable for any consequential or incidental damages for breach of this or any other
Warranty, express or implied, whatsoever. No person or representative is authorized to assume for the
Company any liability other than expressed herein in connection with the sale of this product.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damage, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This
Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Soin et Entretien
Des cassettes audio
Comme avec n'importe quelle magnétophone, la section cassette de votre système exige un
entretien minimum pour assurer un bon fonctionnement de l'appareil. Suivez ces suggestions
simples de soin et d'entretien pour empêcher le mauvais fonctionnement de la magnétophone.
1.Achetez une trousse de nettoyage de cassette chez votre fournisseur local et utilisez-la
souvent. Vous devez nettoyer votre mécanisme cassette toutes les 20 ou 30 heures
d'opération. Un magnétophone sale vous donnera une mauvaise qualité de son.
2.N'utilisez pas de cassettes qui dépasse 45 minutes de jeu de chaque côté.
3.N'insérez pas de cassettes qui ont l'air cassé, tordu ou sale ou celles qui ont des étiquettes
déchirées.
4.N'exposez jamais vos cassettes au soleil ou à des températures moins zéro. Si votre
cassette est froide, laissez-la réchauffer avant de l'utiliser.
5.Vérifiez que la cassette est bien roulée avant de l'insérer dans la magnétophone. Eliminez le
desserrement en excès en roulant le moyeu de la cassette avec un crayon.
Disques Compacts (Changeur de CD)
De la poussière, des saletés, des égratignures et des torsions peuvent donner lieu à des sauts
dans la reproduction et nuire à la qualité de son de votre machine. Suivez les principes ci-
dessous pour prendre soin de vos CDs.
1.Essuyez des empreinte digitales, de la poussière et des saletés de la surface du disque avec
un chiffon doux. Essuyez dans un mouvement droit allant de l'intérieur à l'extérieur du disque.
3.N'utilisez jamais de produits chimiques ou de vaporisateurs de disques ou bien même des
nettoyants domestiques pour nettoyer vos CDs. Ces substances peuvent causer des dégâts
irréparables à la surface du disque.
4.Mettez les disques dans leur étui lorsque vous ne les utilisez pas.
5.N'exposez pas vos disques au soleil, à des températures hautes ou à une humidité
excessive pendant des périodes longues.
6.Ne collez pas de papier, de bandes ou d'étiquettes sur la surface du disque.
