Formatting the unit will completely erase all files, so only format when there is no other
option.
1. Connect the computer to your player using the supplied USB cable; the READY screen
will appear.
2. Press the Menu button and a Removable disk will appear on the computer’s screen.
3. Right-click the Removable Disk folder on your computer, then choose format from the
menu.
4. Click Start in the format window, then click OK in the pop-up window to start formatting
the unit.
5. When finished, click OK.

1. Safely disconnect the player from the computer as described on page 19.
2. Click START - PROGRAMS - SIGMATEL MSCNMMC AUDIO PLAYER - UNINSTALL.
3. Click CANCEL on the pop-up window to cancel the operation, otherwise click OK and
the conversion window will appear.
4. When finished, click FINISH.
