Symptom Cause(s) Remedy
The remote control does
not function.
• There is no battery in the
remote control.
• The battery is discharged.
• The remote control is not
pointed to the remote control
sensor.
• The remote control is too far
from the unit.
• The unit is shut off.
• Install a CR2025 lithium battery
in the remote control.
• Replace the battery with a new
one.
• Make sure that the remote
control is pointed to the remote
control sensor. The infrared
beam must not be blocked or
obstructed.
• Move the remote control closer
to the unit.
• Turn the unit on.
The icon (

on the screen.
• The feature or action cannot
be completed at this time.
• Wait until the feature or action
is available. In some cases,
the disc’s software restricts a
feature, or the disc’s software
doesn’t support the feature (for
example, angle marks).
