PRV-9000 Operating Instructions
Note: to fine-tune individual stations/channels, use the Manual CH Setting feature
discussed in the following section of this manual.
4.1.5 Set Channels Manually & Channel Skipping
The PRV-9000 has a built-in TV tuner for recording programs off the air. Use
the Auto Channel Setting feature to tune in to your available television
stations and the Channel Skip function to ignore channels without stations.
The maximum number of settings stored in the PRV-9000 is 192 channels.
1. Press SETUP to access the menu.
2. Highlight Initial Setup from the main menu by using the joystick.
3. Press ENTER to confirm your selection.
4. Highlight Tuner from the Initial Setup menu.
5. Select Manual CH Setting from the Tuner submenu.
6. Press ENTER to jump to the Next Screen option.
7. Press ENTER to go to the Manual Channel Setting screen.
8. Use the Channel +/- button to set the channels manually.
To add the displayed channel, change the Manual Tuning setting
to On then move down to Level to manually tune in the channel.
To bypass the displayed channel, change the Skip setting to On.
9. Press ENTER to return to the Initial Setup menu.
10. Press SETUP to exit the menu.
