Your device also comes with the
Oxford Thesaurus of English.
Thesaurus entries may consist of
parts of speech, usage examples,
synonyms, opposites and other word
links.
1. Press .
2. Press or to highlight Oxford
Thesaurus of English, 2nd
edition and then press ENTER.
3. Begin to type an English word,
for example complete.
As you type letters, the rst
word in the book that matches
the letters you type will move
to the top of the word list. You
may not have to type the entire
word in order to nd the one you
want. In this example, note that
“complete” appears on the screen
after you type “comple”.
4. When the word you want is on
the screen, press until the
word you want is highlighted.
Or you can continue typing letters
until the word is complete and
the matching word in the list is
automatically highlighted.
5. Press ENTER to look it up.
6. Use the navigation button to
read the entire entry.
Press to hear the word.
Some entries contain linked
synonyms or opposites. These
appear in bold face and are
underlined. As you scroll through
an entry using the navigation
button, these links are underlined.
Press ENTER to view the
thesaurus entry of the linked word.
