Place the unit on a level surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
Protect your furniture when placing your unit on a natural wood or lacquered finish. A cloth or other protective
material should be placed between it and the furniture.
Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as
Benzene, thinner or similar materials can mar the surface of the case.
Maintenance
1. Depending on your location and whether or not DST (Day Saving Time) is in effect, set the DST Switch
located on the left of the unit to +1 to advance the time one hour or to -1 to subtract an hour. Activating the
+1 switch will turn the DST icon on.

2. Press and hold the Time Set Button until the time display blinks.
3. Press the << or >> Button to adjust to the correct time. Press and hold the button for faster forward or back-
ward adjustment.
4. Remember to set the correct AM or PM. The PM Indicator is located on the upper right side of the display;
there is no AM indicator
5. Press the Time Set Button again. The year display will blink.
6. Press the << or >> Button to adjust to the correct year. Press and hold the button for faster forward or back-
ward adjustment.
7. Press the Time Set Button again. The date display will blink.
8. Press the << or >> Button to adjust to the correct date. Press and hold the button for faster forward or back-
ward adjustment
9. Press the Time Set Button again or wait for about 10 seconds to exit the time setting process. Two beeps
will confirm time setting mode is complete.
