Audio Control
You can adjust the front/rear and right/left audio balance.

Audio Control 1 screen
1 Returns to the Control screen of the previous
source.
2 Calls the Setup Menu. (page 56)
3 Calls the Sound Effects Menu. (page 76)
4 Adjusts the right and left volume balance.
5 Adjusts the front and rear volume balance.
6 Adjusts the volume of the present source based on
the difference level of original volume.
• If you have increased the volume first, then reduced the
volume using the "Vol. Offset", the sound generated if you
suddenly switch to another source may be extremely loud.
7 Adjusts the subwoofer volume.
8 Turns the Loudness control function On or Off.
If turned "On", high and low tones are automatically
enhanced during low volume.
9 Displays the Audio Control 2 screen.

p Adjusts the bass boost of the B.M.S power amplifier
(optional accessory).
• You may not set some models of power amp boost to "+18".
See the catalog or instruction manual of power amplifier.
q Sets the center frequency of bass boost you have
set for "AMP Bass".
If you set the center frequency to "Low", it will be
dropped approximately 20% to 30%.
w Displays the present source information.
The stream (Dolby Digital, dts, Linear PCM, MPEG or
MP3/WMA), input channels (front or rear channels)
are displayed.
e Displays the Audio Control 1 screen.
