Make sure the AC adapter
is securely connected to
the clock radio with iPod
dock and the wall outlet.
The batteries are dead. Replace the batteries.
Stopped working The clock radio with iPod
dock needs to be reset.
Press the reset switch with
the tip of a pointed object.
Then, press the button
to turn on your clock radio
with iPod dock.
Cannot insert iPod The selected dock cradle is
not compatible.
Confirm the compatibility of
the iPod and the dock
cradle in the “iPod
compatibility chart” on
page 16.
The dock cradle is not fully
inserted into your clock
radio with iPod dock.
Make sure the dock cradle
is properly inserted.
The iPod will not operate The connector plug of your
clock radio with iPod dock
is not firmly inserted into
the connector port of the
iPod.
Firmly insert the connector
plug into the connector port
on the iPod.
The iPod may not be
functioning.
Test the iPod functions on
its own to make sure it
functions properly when
not connected to your clock
radio with iPod dock.
The iPod will not charge. The connector plug of your
clock radio with iPod dock
is not firmly inserted into
the connector port of the
iPod.
Make sure the connector
plug is firmly connected to
the connector port on the
iPod.
The AC adapter is not
connected.
Make sure the AC adapter
is securely connected to
the clock radio with iPod
dock and the wall outlet.
The iPod will not charge
while your clock radio with
iPod dock is operated on
batteries.
You have a 3G iPod. Set the charging mode to
"FC". See “Charging the
3G iPod battery” on
page 23.
