Powering the Unit
Battery Backup
To power the unit, plug the attached AC cord into a standard AC outlet (120V~60Hz)
Install a 9-Volt Battery into the Battery Compartment on the bottom of the unit to
serve as a battery backup.
This is meant only to keep the time
and alarm settings in the case of
unexpected power failure. The
unit cannot run off of the backup
battery long term.
