MP3-CD and CD Operation
What is an MP3-CD?
MP3-CDs are CDs that contain MP3 music les. Approximately 200 les can t on one 700MB
CD — in comparison, a regular audio CD can t approximately 20 tracks. Each MP3 le on the
MP3-CD is recognized by the player as an audio track. The “Folder Up” and “Folder Down” make
it easier to nd and play a MP3-CD track.
This player can also play WMA music les. WMA les may be played in the same manner as MP3
les, however, some WMA les may contain restrictions (DRM). This player will not play DRM-
protected WMA les.
If you own a computer equipped with a CD-R/RW burner and the appropriate mastering software, you
may create your own MP3/WMA-CDs (see your burner or computer’s documentation for more infor-
mation). When creating an MP3/WMA-CD, it is advisable to organize your music les in folders. The
player will recognize these folders as “Albums”.
