Getting Started
Connecting Power
Connecting the device to an electrical power supply can
save batteries. If you choose to use batteries, make sure
that the device is unplugged from the wall before insert-
ing them.
Using the DC Power Supply
Open the battery compartment and insert x “C” batteries
(not included), matching the “+” and ““ ends to the polar-
ity indicators.
When replacing the batteries, be sure to safely dis-
pose or recycle the old batteries. Do not burn or
bury the old batteries.
Incorrect use of the batteries may result in corro-
sive leakage.
Do not mix dierent types of batteries.
Do not use any batteries not recommended by the
manufacturer.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Remove the batteries when not using the device
for an extended period of time.
Do not expose batteries to excessive heat.
